Molecular Formula: K2Cr2O7, molecular weight: 294.18
Orange red triclinic crystal, non-hygroscopic, soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol. Strong oxidizer, Poisonous, flammable in friction or collision with organic compounds.
2. Uses
Mainly used for the manufacture of chromic oxide, potassium chromate, chromate yellow pigment, welding electrode, match, chromic potassium alum and chemical reagent. Also used as oxidizer and in steel passivation.
3. Packing
Packed in high-strength composite plastic woven bags, Net Weight 25kg/50kg.
4. Cautions
1) Do not store together with food and strong reducing agent.
2) In storage or transportation, it should be kept away from moisture, colliding, heat and flammable materials and handled with care.
